I live in Peru and my wife is Italian and she works as a teacher in the only Italian school here. Last year a modern-folk italian group from Naples performed at school for us and it was extraordinary, this is not exactly what you're looking for because it has a little more modernism like Drums and electric violin but I found it worth having, unfortunatly it was a charity thing and they didn't even brought any CD's for selling. They called themselves LA NOUVA COMPAGNIA DI CANTO POPOLARE (The new company of popular song) I recomend it. The group may change artists from time to time but the perform the same music wich is from the region of Naples and the south and been doing it for decades.
