What harmonica key is best for folk music?

I am wanting to buy a harmonica to learn how to play for folk/county type music? Similar to ‘the waifs’ harmonica sound.
What key and therfore make of harmonica is most suitable to make the folk sound?
Cheers!

Most of the music I and my friends play is in A… It fits most voices the easiest…..

Most banjos are tuned in an open A but can be capoed up to fit any key.

    The three best keys for a mouth-harp are A.. G… and C

    Good Luck !!!!!!

Get yourself a harmonica to practice on and buy the different keys as you go along. Good Luck
