		<description>Not to put you off of answering, but your university will have the most accurate info.  Every state is a little different.  You need to know where you want to teach, before you decide (for sure) on a college, because some states will require additional courses or a slightly different certification.

It&#039;s going to take, at least, four years -- then you get a job -- and then most states require you to earn your Master&#039;s within a certain period of time. 

Your local colleges will have the best info -- you can look at the web site for your State Board of Education, but they can, sometimes, be in legalese.
