That said, I also truly appreciate the creepiness of an old stripped-down Blues or Bluegrass song. One good one is: Lonnie Johnson's Devil's Got the Blues Again, I get a thumbs down for sharing the facts. Nice. I'm not sure if this guy has songs about the devil, but he did play the role of that very same person in O Brother Where Art Thou (Hard Time Killing Floor Blues) but his name is Chris Thomas King. It's as good a place as any to start. also check out Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Johnny Lang. a few blues musicians for you.
