Has anyone ever heard of a Wilson Folk guitar?

My father got a Wilson Folk acoustic guitar in 1969. It has amazing sound, and the strings sit close to the neck making it incredible easy and painless to play, but we’ve never seen another one. There isn’t any mention of the maker in any books or online that I can find. Does any one know anything of the history or this guitar, or has anyone ever even heard of it?

No I have never heard of it, but does your dad remember where it was purchased or who gave it to him? that could be a start if the store is still there. But you could look up vintage stores for instruments in your Yellow Pages if you live in a large metropolitan area. Also, check in the nearest university or college music department. Often the faculty have eclectic collections and/ or knowledge of more obscure instruments and music. Then another idea is to try to locate guitar manufacturers to ask them. Hope this helps!!!!
